The 2014 season of the Indian Premier League will starts from Apr 16, 2014 at Dubai. The Mumbai Indians will be the defending champions, having won the 2013 season after defeating Chennai Super Kings in the final.There will be eight teams this season.IPL announcement said that the first 16 matches would be held in the UAE from April 16 to 30 and the schedule for the second phase of IPL 2014 has been confirmed, with India hosting the remaining 40 games from May 2 to June 1.
