Mumbai will face Delhi in Thursday's match of the Indian T20r League 2019 at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi. The match will have a big bearing on the points table as both Mumbai and Delhi are tied on 10 points from eight matches. While Delhi is ahead on run rate, both teams will be seeking a win to go ahead of the other on the points table.

Apart from the same number of points, Mumbai and Delhi also go into the clash against each other having won their respective previous matches. In fact, Delhi has a slight advantage over here as they have won their last three games -- against Bangalore, Kolkata and Hyderabad.

Mumbai, on the other hand, has not been too consistent. From their last three matches, they won against Punjab, lost to Rajasthan before returning to winning ways against Bangalore. But Rohit Sharma and the franchise owners will not be too concerned about the same as this has become a Mumbai trait over the years.

On Thursday, a lot will depend on how the stroke-makers adapt to the slow Kotla surface. Both teams have plenty. Rohit Sharma, Kieron Pollard and Quinton de Kock love the ball coming on to the bat and it will be no different for Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, Shre, as Iyer and Rishabh Pant. This will be the first match for Pant after World Cup exclusion so it would be interesting to see how he responds.

Although playing at home, Delhi will have it tough if Mumbai fire as a team in both the batting and bowling departments. From Jasprit Bumrah, Lasith Malinga, the Pandya brothers to Pollard and Rohit himself, there is no shortage of match-winners in the Mumbai dug out.
