Michael Clarke: 10 out of 10 (when asked how do you rate the feeling on winning the Ashes). I don't think it does not get much better. Every member of the team deserves credit. I know how Alastair (Cook) is feeling, it is his 100th Test. They played hard. Credit to the Australians for playing so well. I think it was about executing our skills today morning. I think I can talk about every individual. If Mitch bowls the ways he has been bowling I have no doubt he will be Man of the Series. Steve Rixon and Mike Young are as good as anyone in the field. I guess you can see that in our fielding. There are a lot of people who you don't see since I took over captaincy. They deserve a lot of credit. To those people who stuck by us, Thank you. Lehmann has done a fantastic job. He's made it very comfortable for all the players and he makes us work hard. We want to become the No. 1 team. You can never write England off. This just does not happen. The guys have been working hard for a really long time and this is the reward for that. Playing a 100 Tests, it just means I'm getting old I guess.
Alistair Cook: Fantastic innings from Ben Stokes, full of character. The pitch wasn't an easy one to bat on and to be honest it is one of the best Test match hundreds. We've got to keep looking at ourselves and work hard and see where we can improve. We've been a good fielding side but we've not managed to take our opportunities. Australia haven't surprised us at all. They were quite outstanding and never allowed us to get back into a game after gaining the upper hand. We are incredibly lucky with the support we've got. The Barmy Army and all of those who travelled here to cheer us. Yes, the Ashes are gone and it will hurt but we've got to get things right again.
Steven Smith is the Man of the Match
Thats it, its all-over.Australia have regained the Ashes after 4 years, they won by 3-0 and two more games left in the series.Happy scenes out there at Perth.Stay tuned for presentation cermony.
