As speculated earlier, Champions League T20 2012 has been moved to South Africa. The decision has been confirmed by Sundar Raman, who is a member of the tournament’s technical committee via twitter. South Africa will now be hosting this tournament for the second time, having done the previous time in 2010.

The decision to move the tournament from India to South Africa was based on reasons like the ongoing monsoon season and the five-day long Dussehra festival in Kolkata.

The schedule for what will be the fourth edition of the CLT20 is yet to be announced. The tournament is scheduled to be played in the month of October and most probably could be held from 10th to 28th.
