The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has this morning announced a 5-year ban on Kolkata Knight Riders’ Owner and Bollywood Superstar Shahrukh Khan from entering the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai! The decision was announced by the MCA President and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh along with Professor Ratnakar Shetty.

The bold decision from MCA comes following an ugly scuffle that Shahrukh Khan had with the security staff in the Wankhede Staff after KKR’s victory over Mumbai Indians on Wednesday. The story is that Shahrukh Khan came onto the field of play in a drunken state with his kids when the Security Staff started to ask him to leave the place. The Bollywood Superstar is reported to have got upset with that and started to abuse the Security Staff and the other MCA officials.

Shahrukh KhanShahrukh Khan on the other hand denied about being drunk and said that it was his kids being manhandled by the security men that angered him.

Though the MCA has announced an official ban on Shahrukh Khan from entering its stadium, the final authority on the same will be in the hands of the BCCI.
