IPL is one of India’s most exciting cricket events right after the World cup. Players from all over the world take part in these faced-paced series of matches to find out who’s the best. Royal Challengers is one of the top teams in IPL, which has shown brilliant performance last year under the leadership of Virat Kohli; if you are an IPL fan and interested in safe and convenient betting opportunities, check out the best IPL satta apps

Now back to Virat Kohli, who recently gave away his spot and made way for a new captain for the team. So, naturally, everyone wants to know who would be the next RCB captain and how he would manage things. The list of candidates is extensive as plenty of players have experience as captains; these include Dinesh Karthik, Faf-du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell.

Harshal Patel is also on the list of candidates as he has maintained an excellent score in the team with his superb bowling and consistent performance; he was also the top wicket-taker in the last year’s IPL.; this is the reason why RCB have retained him in their team. Harshal has recently dropped a small hint about the possibility of their next skipper.

According to Harshal, Faf du Plessis is the best option RCB has, and he says that Faf du Plessis has the experience necessary to carry the team forward, which he did as a captain for the South African team. Mike Hesson, the current director of cricket at RCB, said, “We see him as a highly experienced player at the top of the order. It allows us to look at how we balance our side. He is also a really important leader in the group, so really delighted to have him.”

We think Faf du Plessis is worth considering as a captain as the team spent a handsome amount acquiring him in. They fended off the challenge made by CSK and paid 7 crore INR to close the deal. And that price is justifiable for some, while others think that it’s too much. We have to remember that the former South-African skipper was responsible for scoring 633 runs with an incredible average of about 45.

So, we still can’t be sure who it might be, but all the possible skippers are competent, and RCB has a bright future in front of it under the leadership of any of them.
