Kings XI Punjab reclaimed the no.1 spot by beating Chennai Super Kings by 44 runs in a high-scoring contest at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. Glenn Maxwell produced one of the best ever T20 knocks blazing to 90 in just 38 balls with 6 fours and 8 sixes! With Dacid Miller scoring 47 (from 32 balls) and Skipper George Bailey scoring 40* from just 13 balls, Kings XI Punjab batted out CSK in the first half with an unreachable total of 231 for 4 in 20 overs!

The CSK innings was only going to be a formality and nobody had any realistic expectations of their victory. However, they did go down fighting with a total of 187 for 6 which was largely due to the gem of a knock from Faf du Plessis who scored 52 from 25 balls.

Toss and Teams: Chennai Super Kings have won the toss and asked Kings XI Punjab to bat first in Match 29 at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. CSK remain unchanged as expected while Kings XI make two changes with Mandeep Singh and Murali Kartik coming into the XI replacing Pujara and Balaji.
