India went down in the 3rd ODI against Australia at Ranchi but not before skipper Virat Kohli gave them hope with a stupendous century. It was Kohli's second consecutive ton of the series and hos eighth against Australia.

The knock once again brought focus on the debate as to whether Kohli is the greatest of all time, perhaps even better than Sachin Tendulkar.

And, after the innings, former England skipper Michael Vaughan, referred to Kohli as the ‘GOAT’ (Greatest of All Time). To his post, a user asked as to whether he felt Kohli was greater than past legends like Lara and Tendulkar.

To this, Vaughan replied, “In One day cricket … YES …”. Kohli smashed 123 in the third ODI in Ranchi as India were chasing 314. It was a one-man effort however as no other player crossed 50 as India went down by 32 runs.

Earlier, Aussie openers Aaron Finch and Usman Khawaja featured in a mammoth stand to help the visitors post 300 plus. Finch roared back to form with 93 while Khawaja made his maiden ODI hundred.

The fourth match of the series will be played on Sunday with India leading the series 2-1.
