Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) won the toss against Hardik Pandya’s Mumbai Indians (MI) and opted to bowl first at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Quinton de Kock misses out for LSG while Mayank Yadav comes back in the team.

Nehal Wadhera’s 46 and Tim David’s last over flurry helped Mumbai Indians to a respectable 144/7 against the Lucknow Super Giants. Mumbai were rattled early, losing big names like Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Verma and Hardik Pandya inside he first 6 overs before Ishan Kishan and Wadhera somewhat resuscitated their innings.

LSG chased down the 145-run modest target in 19.2 overs thanks to Marcus Stoinis (62 off 45). Nicholas Pooran hit the winning runs for his side when things went a bit haywire for LSG in the death overs.
