India won the toss for the fourth consecutive time in the series and elected to bat against the West Indies in the fourth ODI here Thursday.

VirenderSehwag bludgeons West Indies to score his first double century (219 off 149), second overall in ODI history, to take India to a mammoth 418/5. This is India's highest score in the 50-over format.

Sehwag has scored an effortless double-century, and now holds the record for the highest individual score in ODIs. Both the double-centuries have come in the state of Madhya Pradesh, and I suspect on pitches made by the same man.

But I was never expecting a double century. It's a true time, you can play all your shots. When I decided I wanted to hit a six, I went and did it with a straight bat. I know people expected me to score a double-century, so thanks to them. And thanks to my family. I had said earlier that the top order was not contributing, and it was my job. Never changed my batting through this innings. I just told my self that I needed to bat through the Batting Powerplay, and I would get the double hundred. When Sammy dropped my chance, I knew God was with me.

All that matters is how quickly Sehwag gets to his double ton. Second ever in ODIs after the Master. In the meantime, India touch the 300-run mark in the 40th over. Raina scores 55 off 44 before getting run-out.

India won the toss for the fourth consecutive time in the series and elected to bat against the West Indies in the fourth ODI here Thursday.

Leg-spinner Rahul Sharma makes his debut, replacing fast bowler UmeshYadav, who has left for Autsrlia to prepare for the upcoming series.

West Indies also made one change, bringing in Kieran Powell in place of injured Darren Bravo.

India lead the five-match series 2-1.
