Pakistan repeated yet another 1-wicket victory with just the one ball to spare to level the 5-ODI Series against South Africa 2-2. In the fourth ODI at Dubai, it was SA winning the toss and batting first to pile up 274 for 6. Skipper Graeme Smith led from the front with 92 from 105 balls with 9 fours. Wicket Keeper AB de Villiers scored 49 from 70 balls in the middle order. For Pakistan, left arm spinner Abdul Rehman bowled 10 tight overs to concede only 39 runs.

In their chase, Pakistan were helped along by former Skipper Younis Khan who scored 73 from 115 balls. This knock from Younis had just the one boundary but was good enough to help Pakistan to a win and also to get the Man of the Match award! Wahab Riaz with 18 from 10 balls and Wicket Keeper Zulqarnain Haider with 19* from 22 balls played crucial roles in the run chase. For the Proteas, Morne Morkel bowled well taking 3 for 48.
