Ahmed Shehzad stroked his second One-Day International century as Pakistan scored a comfortable seven-wicket victory over the West Indies in the second match in Saint Lucia.

Shehzad made 102 as Pakistan closed on 223 for three having bowled the West Indies out for 220 in 50 overs to go 2-0 up in the five-match series.

The opening batsman faced 148 balls, hitting seven fours and one six, sharing partnerships with Mohammad Hafeez (32), Asad Shafiq (23) and Misbah-ul-Haq (43 not out).

West Indies leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo impressed once again, taking the wickets of Hafeez and Shehzad, who was stumped shortly after reaching his century.

Shafiq fell when he was run out but Pakistan were guided home by the calming influence of Misbah-ul-Haq, who faced 43 balls, while Umar Akmal was not out on 17 in 11 balls as the tourists reached their target with two overs to spare.

Lendl Simmons had earlier top scored for the West Indies with 51 but the next highest score was 29 from Marlon Samuels as they lost wickets throughout their innings.

Hafeez, who opened the bowling, Wahab Riaz, Saeed Ajmal and Shahid Afridi all took two wickets apiece while all-rounder Hammad Azam grabbed his first international wicket when he bowled Samuels.

Kemar Roach, who made 24, was the only other player to pass 20.

The third ODI is in Barbados on 28th April and Pakistan scored an eight-wicket win in the opening match, also in Saint Lucia.
