Chennai Super Kings win by 38 runs to meet Mumbai Indians in the Final. Well few would have thought that CSk would go onto defend this small total of 142 which they did through some outstanding fielding and bowling! DC never got off to any momentum and made it very difficult to chase down the runs. It was a one sided contest for most part of their innings! And one can conclude that it was an all-round bowling show from CSK with every one playing their part from Bollinger to Jakati!
Over 19.2: He is Caught! SK Raina to PP Ojha, flatter trajectory delivery, slogs it flat in the air towards Bollinger at long on who holds onto that sitter.
Over 19.1: Beaten! SK Raina to PP Ojha, quicker and flatter in the air, goes back for a cut and is beaten by an arm ball.
End of Over 19
Over 18.6: Beaten! M Muralitharan to RP Singh, on the shorter side, goes back for a cut and is beaten by a doosra.
Over 18.5: No runs. M Muralitharan to RP Singh, on the shorter side, goes back and pulls it to mid wicket.
Over 18.4: No runs. M Muralitharan to RP Singh, flatter trajectory delivery, steps out and pushes it back to Murali.
Over 18.3: Single. M Muralitharan to PP Ojha, flatter trajectory delivery, chips it wristily just over the outstretched hands of Murali and gets away with a single from long on.
Over 18.2: No runs. M Muralitharan to PP Ojha, flatter trajectory delivery, pushes it to the right of the bowler.
Over 18.1: Out LBW! M Muralitharan to Harmeet Singh, flatter trajectory delivery, goes back and is hit on the back pad by a straighter one plumb infront of the off stump! Tiffin thought about it and gave that out lbw.
Over 17.6: Bowled him! DE Bollinger to B Sumanth, pitched up delivery, makes room and by the time Sumanth brings his bat down, Bollinger's perfect yorker crashes onto the exposed off stump!
Over 17.5: Beaten! DE Bollinger to B Sumanth, bouncer, attempts a hook and is no way near the pace and bounce of that one, too good for him.
Over 17.4: He is Caught!. DE Bollinger to RJ Harris, good length delivery, goes through the line with a lofted shot, and its a miscued hit dragged straight into the hands of Murali at covers!
Over 17.3: Beaten! DE Bollinger to B Sumanth, pitched up delivery, makes room for a big hit and is beaten outside off.
Over 17.2: Beaten! DE Bollinger to B Sumanth, pitched up delivery, makes room for a big hit and is beaten outside off.
Over 17.1: Single. DE Bollinger to RJ Harris, pitched up delivery, smashes it along the ground to long off for a single.
End of Over 17
Over 16.6: Boundary! SB Jakati to B Sumanth, flighted delivery, makes room and thrashes it past extra covers for a boundary. DC need 42 more runs to win from 18 balls.
Over 16.5: No runs. SB Jakati to B Sumanth, flatter trajectory delivery, steps out and can only block it.
Over 16.4: Single. SB Jakati to RJ Harris, flatter trajectory delivery, goes back and smacks it to deep point for a single.
