West Indies Escape With A Draw In Antigua
The West Indies batted through the final day of the third Test against England to escape with a draw at the Antigua Recreation Ground, closing their second innings on 370 for nine when bad light ended the match with four overs to spare.
Set 503 to win, Ramnaresh Sarwan hit 106 and Shivnarine Chanderpaul 55 before Sulieman Benn (21), Daren Powell (22 not out) and Fidel Edwards (5 not out) saw out the final hour of play to preserve their 1-0 series lead heading to the fourth Test in Barbados.
