Cheteshwar Pujara is the Man of the Match
Virat Kohli (IND): We got ourselves into a good position. Losing the toss on this pitch wasn't easy. We came back beautifully. Two guys batting out of their skins. One of the best knocks I have seen. We thought if we get within 20-30 runs, we thought we had a shot. Credit to those two guys (who got us a lead). Guys were motivated to push themselves for the team. This game was another example of that happening for us. That's why we ended up winning position. Credit to Australia that they played out a draw. I can understand when you play one format and you're counted as one of the best Test players, he's someone who takes a lot of pride. He works hard and doesn't mind grafting runs. This was his one of his best innings from Pujara, taking along Saha. This game was different, and happy for Saha. He's always smiling, always happy and never complains about anything. I don't think it was the wicket not doing anything. I don't think the ball was hard enough. Even the ball that was changed wasn't hard enough. If you have a hard ball throughout, it's a different ball game. Same happened to Australia. (Jadeja) is unbelievable. I haven't seen bowl more economical ever. Very hard working and knows his strengths. No different plans for Dharamsala and we are ready for it.
Steven Smith (AUS): Proud of the way the boys were sticking out today. We are trying to be resilient and stand up in those tough moments. Handscomb and Marsh were fantastic. They played beautifully today and didn't look like getting out for a while. I am really proud of them. This was a pretty nice wicket. Was important to score good first innings runs. 450 wasn't enough to win this game and then India batted beautifully. I thought Maxwell was sensational in the first innings; that's the way we want him to play. Cummins bowled beautifully. The ability to bounce out batsmen on this wicket was great. Not too often you spend 210 overs in the field. Boys dug deep and tried there best. To come out with a draw on day five, I am really proud. Massive game in Dharamsala
They shake hands. This is a draw
