The 3-day tour match of England against India A ended in a draw at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Resuming the final day’s play at 286 for 4, England XI went onto pile up 426 to take the first innings lead. The match was wrapped up with India A scoring 124 for 4 in 40 overs.

Samit PatelThe final day saw overnight batsman Samit Patel complete a century. The all-rounder finished with 104 (from 173 balls with 14 fours). Wicket Keeper Matt Prior eased himself to a breezy 51 from 52 balls with 9 fours. For India A, Yuvraj Singh collected five wickets in 26.5 overs.

India A in their second innings had Ajinkya Rahane scoring a 98-ball 54 (with 6 fours). The other batsmen failed to get any good scores including Yuvraj Singh who fell for 14. For the tourists, James Anderson took 2 for 20 in 7 overs.
