Services who have pleasantly shocked everyone by storming into the Ranji Trophy Semi Finals have gone onto restrict tournament favourties Mumbai to 199 for 6 in the opening day’s play at the Palam Ground in Delhi.

Batting first after winning the toss, Mumbai were rocked back at 23 for 3 before Master batsman Sachin Tendulkar led the recovery with a stroke-filled 56 (from 75 balls with 10 fours and a six). India ODI discard Abhishek Nayar was the top scorer with a 160-ball 70 (with 8 fours).

For Services, medium pacers Suraj Yadav and Shadab Nazar took two wickets each.
