In one of the big clashes of the IPL, Chennai Super Kings will face Mumbai Indians at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Friday. Mumbai won the first contest between the teams so obviously Chennai would be keen on setting the record straight. Somehow, Mumbai seem to have the upper hand over Chennai so the latter would be wary

Chennai are already in the play-offs with 16 points from 11 games. But, MS Dhoni will still want to keep the momentum on as they go ahead. On the other hand, Mumbai are third with 12 points. However, they are yet to secure their position in the play-offs. As such, Mumbai would be keen not to slip.

As mentioned earlier, the visitors had the better of the exchanges when they met at Wankhede Stadium when they registered a 37-run victory over Dhoni's men. Rohit Sharma and co will want to take that advantage into the big clash. But, it must be noted that Chennai have won all their five games at Chepauk this year.

Chennai also go into Friday's clash on a high. They were excellent against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Shane Watson's return to form was a big plus as he blasted 96. They though would be worried with the lack of runs coming from the blade of Faf du Plessis. In the bowling, CSK would yet again look to Harbhajan Singh and Imran Tahir to deliver the goods. Tahir, in particular, has been in excellent form.

In their last clash, Mumbai went down to Rajasthan Royals at Jaipur. They managed only 161 on the board and while the bowlers did a good job, Mumbai could not defend the target. They will need to be in much better shape against a rampant Chennai. For Mumbai, their opener Quinton de Kock is the form person, with 378 runs from 10 games. They of course there is Hardik Pandya, who has been blistering down the order.

In the bowling department, once again Jasprit Bumrah remains the key, with 11 wickets from 10 games. Among the others, there are the Pandya brothers and Lasith Malinga. Rahul Chahar has been the surprise package in the spin department, and Mumbai will want his good run to continue.
