Representing the Capital City of India in the IPl is The GMR Group owned Delhi Daredevils. The Daredevils have been led by the explosive Virender Sehwag. The team apart from him has some exciting hitters in David Warner, Kevin Pietersen, Ross Taylor along with the sublime Mahela Jayawardene. The bowling is led by India’s fastest bowlers – Umesh Yadav and Varun Aaron!
So far the Delhi Daredevils haven’t achieved a great deal in the IPL. At the most, they have only reached the Semi Finals of the IPL. In a way, this season will be a crucial one for the Delhi Daredevils to pull off something for their fans.
The home ground of the Delhi Daredevils is the Feroz Shah Kotla Ground in Delhi. Traditionally, the Kotla pitch has been sluggish with low bounce and pace.

Statistics of Delhi Daredevils:
DLF IPL 2008: The inaugural season of the IPL saw the Delhi Daredevils finish fourth and with that an opportunity in the Semi Finals. However, they lost in the Semi Final after a disastrous batting show against Rajasthan Royals. Daredevils had a mixed season, winning 7, losing 6 and with one match getting abandoned in their league stage.
DLF IPL 2009: A tremendous show in South Africa saw the Delhi Daredevils top the table with 10 wins and 4 losses and with that an entry in the Semi Finals for a second time. And once again they faltered in the Semi Final, this time against Deccan Chargers.
DLF IPL 2010: Delhi Daredevils had an average season in the third edition as they finished in the fifth position. They had a perfect mixed season with 7 wins and 7 defeats.
DLF IPL 2011: It was a worst season for the Delhi Daredevils in 2011 as they finished first from the bottom! The Daredevils managed just the four wins while losing in as many as 9 matches. One match ended in a no result.
