Most runs

David Warner (Sunrisers Hyderabad): The skipper of his team finished as the leading run-scorer in the event with 562 runs from 14 matches at a strike rate of 156.5 with seven fifties and a highest of 91. He averaged 43.2 having hit 65 fours and 21 sixes.

Ajinkya Rahane (Rajasthan Royals): The opener for Royals, who originally hails from Mumbai, is second on the list. He finished with 540 runs in 14 games at a strike rate of 130.7 with four fifties and an average of 49. Rahane hit 53 fours and 13 sixes, and had a highest of 91 not out.

Lendl Simmons (Mumbai Indians): The Mumbai opener jumped up to number three with some significant performances in the second half of the tournament. In 13 matches, he made 540 runs at an average of 45, and a strike rate of 122.4. Simmons crossed fifty six times, and hit 56 fours and 21 sixes. His highest was 71.

AB de Villiers (Royal Challengers Bangalore): The smashing RCB batsman blasted 513 runs in 16 games at a strike rate of 175, and an average of 46.3. He hit one hundred and two fifties, with 60 fours and 22 sixes, and a highest of 133 not out.

Virat Kohli (Royal Challengers Bangalore): The RCB captain scored 505 runs at a strike rate of 130.8, and an average of 45.9. He hit three fifties in all with a highest of 82 not out. Kohli hit 35 fours and 23 sixes in the event.

Most wickets

Dwayne Bravo (Chennai Super Kings): The West Indian all-rounder finished as the leading wicket-taker with 26 wickets from 17 games at a strike rate of 12. He had an economy rate of 8.1, and an average of 16.3. Bravo best bowling analysis were 3 for 22.

Lasith Malinga (Mumbai Indians): Mumbai's spearhead is second on the list. In 15 games, he claimed 24 wickets at a strike rate of 15. Malinga had an average of 18.5 and an economy of 7.4. He bowled three maidens, and had best bowling analysis of 4 for 23.

Yuzvemdra Chahal (Royal Challengers Bangalore): The RCB leggie was impressive again. In 15 matches, he claimed 23 wickets at a strike rate of 12.2. While he averaged 18, his economy rate was high at 8.8. His best bowling analysis in the edition were 3 for 40.

Ashish Nehra (Chennai Super Kings): In 16 matches, the left-arm pacer claimed 22 wickets at a strike rate of 17 and economy rate of 7.2. Nehra averaged 20.4 for his wickets, and had best bowling figures of 4 for 10, which was a simply devastating spell.

Mitchell Starc (Royal Challengers Bangalore): Another left-arm pacer, this one from RCB, Starc claimed 20 wickets in 13 games at a strike rate of 13, and an economy rate of 6.7. He averaged 14.5, bowled one maiden, and had best bowling analysis of 4 for 15.
