Presentation Ceremony

Raza Hasan is the Man of the Match for his mean figures of 4-0-14-2 and this is what he has to say: "It is my first big tournament for Pakistan and I am happy to contribute. Everybody is giving me confidence in the team."

Pakistan's Captain Mohammad Hafeez says: "Everybody realized that it was a crucial situation. Nasir and Kamran played well. We really wanted the bowlers to do the job and we got a good score. Umar Gul is very handy with reverse swing. Raza Hasan was wonderful with the ball. We are not thinking about the next game. It will be great if we qualify for the semis."

The losing Australian Captain George Bailey says: "It is a disappointing loss. Pakistan's spinners bowled well. They took early wickets and put pressure on us. They did not introduce pace till the 18th over. The middle order had a hit today. It would be ideal for the top order to score majority of the runs. We need to get back to form for the semi-finals."
So big win for Pakistan and they will have to wait for the result of the India-South Africa match. Should India lose, then Pakistan will make it to the Semis with Australia already into it having gone past 112. Australia will be facing Sri Lanka in the Semi Final! That is going to be tough for them as they were very weak this evening against the Pakistani spinners!
